Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences.

At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade.

There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đồng Xuân Market, selling household goods and street food.

The current population of Hanoi in 2023 is 5,253,000,

The word Hanoi means “the land between rivers”.

 WHERE TO SLEEP

There is plenty of hotel in Hanoi and for every budget, we personally stay at Hong Ngoc Cochinchine boutique hotel & spa, very good location and quieter area, since Hanoi is a very noisy city we really appreciate.

Good service, big room and good breakfast.

The hotel is at the middle point between the western lake and the Hoan Kiem lake.
