ToggleThe Queen Elizabeth Park
Queen Elisabeth Park is a 52ha park located south of Vancouver, very easy to access by public transport.
Take the metro (Canada line) which has 2 stops near the park, one at King Edward and the other at 41 avenue (Oakridge centre) in both cases you have to walk a little bit and for the less mobile, at King Edward station you can take bus number 15 southbound and get off at 33rd ave.
Another nice option in good weather, but a little longer, take the number 15 bus from downtown Vancouver to 33rd Avenue,
This park is very pretty with a very beautiful view of Vancouver and its mountains, there is also a magnificent garden with a very varied vegetation, very popular for wedding photos.
For the modest sum of $7, there is also the Bloedel Conservatory (a tropical garden under a dome).
Here is the web link for more details.
