Vancouver is the most populous city in British Columbia. The city of Vancouver is nicknamed the city of glass because of its buildings that are almost all made of glass. There is almost no concrete in Vancouver.

It is a very beautiful city where life is good. Vancouver is surrounded by the sea and the mountains make it the ideal city for lovers of outdoor activities. Hiking, skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, fishing, running, mountain biking or just walking without a specific goal.

There are several places to visit which is why for some of them I have dedicated an individual chapter to them.

To visit there is, downtown, Stanley Park, Granville Island and its market, Yaletown, gastown, Queen Elisabeth park, kitsilano, Spanish bank, Ubc, Canada Place where the Olympic torch is located.

To the east of Vancouver there is the Italian district on commercial drive with its shops and restaurants, in the evening it is very lively, you can get there with buses, but it’s faster with the skytrain.
